The performance Dancing Trees aims to look for answers about what performing artists and citizens can do in response to one of the biggest crises we are facing today, the crisis of environmental survival, which is the direct result of global climate change and one of the main causes of it – deforestation. Dansende Træer søger svar på, hvad scenekunstnere og borgere kan gøre som reaktion på en af de største kriser, vi står over for i dag – krisen om miljøets overlevelse, hvis direkte konsekvens er de globale klimaforandringer, og en af hovedårsagerne – skovrydning.
Through the language of dance and theatre, poetry and video art, this production speaks about the importance of protecting the forest, without which our living conditions are deteriorating daily in our cities, countries, and the world.
