LàQua is a small song that echoes from our mother’s belly. It is the sound of the first element that accompanies, protects and cradles life in the womb. LàQua is the song of the first journey that a creature makes, on being born. A small hymn to life and to the water that accompanies it. The title is a recompositing of the word ‘water’ and references the babbling and mumbling that accompany our first phase of vocal explorations. The sound woven by the performance is a polyphonic song.
The last 15 minutes of the performance is for playtime.
