UR-NAT FESTIVAL 2025

From the 27th-31st of August, UR-NAT festival took place for the 7th time in Ringkøbing-Skjern municipality. Previously, the festival has been spread over several locations in the municipality, bbut in 2025 we tried a new format; to hold the festival in one, gathered space - since the theme of the festival was community. In a time marked by conflicts, it was important to us to create a space where audiences could meet, be together, hang out and have extraordinary theater-experiences. 

That is why we decided to arrange all performances and activities in Alkjær Lukke, the local park in Ringkøbing. During the festival's 5 days, Alkjær Lukkes paths, islands, lakes, lawns and trees acted as stage for 63 performances and activites, performed by 14 theatre groups and a line of individual artists. The festival featured acts and works from Italy, Brazil, Argentina, Sweden, Germany, Spain, France, Serbia, Finland and Denmark.
You could experience childrens' and adult performances, dansing shows, stiltperformances, girraffes in free dressage, take part in an exclusive performances for 7 audiences at a time in a caravan, enjoy music, take part in workshops, eat delicious food, and much, much more.
